All my life, I felt unequipped for what life would throw at me. When it would rain, my feet would get wet and soggy. Every outfit i wore consisted of the same smelly old sneakers. When i stepped outside i felt ashamed to be wearing such crappy flaps of cloth that i called shoes. When other girls walked by i envied all the different styles of boots that they wore, and wondered why cant i afford just one pair of boots? I dreamed of boots. As the night grows longer, the creatures of the earth grow weary. All the animals of the forest, my friends, they nestle down for bed. And the souls of those who wander aimlessly through this maze of life, look for serenity beneath the glittering stars.
